No it is not what you think! What a cool gift we got for Christmas, a children's version of Monopoly. I have fond memories of owning the board and stashing the cash from my childhood. Unfortunately my sister has many memories of being crushed, with an occasional victory! Trouble was that Monopoly took so darn long to play.
Flash forward about 20 years, and we are seeking to recreate new family board game memories. This version is relatively quick compared to the prior version. So we are now learning about money, buying properties and good old fashion, inexpensive fun. We have also learnt that rolling the dice can be very tricky, often taking out the whole board, so now we roll in the lid of the box.
Of course at 6 you love selecting different coloured game pieces, which is not so good for the adults who are used to their favourite colour, keep an eye out for your piece moving around the board!
