Mother's Day was a double surprise. Maddison had proudly beaded me a lovely necklace at school. Colour coded to perfection, and with several awesome plastic flowers....do you have the image yet? Anyway, I also had a surprise for her, and we headed out the door. Of course as I aim to be parent of the year, I was actually wearing my new present, as requested.I had organised for the pair of us to take a ride on the monthly steam train ride, around the city. Whilst neither of us are huge train buffs, it was a fantastic day and a great way to spend some quality time together.
