Winter Uniform

Its official winter is here.  At least at the new school they do have a winter uniform, the lack of one at the previous school did bother me greatly.  Now this child is extremely ticklish, so the donning of a shirt that has to be done up at the neck, and a tie, well that is requiring some navigation between us.

We have managed to last until the half way point in the year before losing an article of school clothing.  Unfortunately it's the $80 winter hat.  I have agreed to fund a new one, but that all pocket money will go towards the repayment.  Initially this wasn't deemed to be a problem.  After some thinking,I have actually continued to pay the pocket money.  Lesson learnt when dear child wanted to start spending the pocket money!  Apparently holding on to the cash until you save up the $80 has more effect than just to getting the pocket money.
